Field of Dreams is an ongoing body of work with my father which I began developing in 2022. I have been documenting his experience in his eco-farm in Tokyo, which he calls his Field of dreams. The footage and audio recordings thus far document the dynamics of our relationship, the impacts on personal wellbeing post-Covid as well as the themes of local versus global ecology. This body of work has been so far, for me, a space to recollect memories and an ode to how familial love can potentially extend across boundaries.
While in Japan, the first time post-Covid, I recorded a conversation with my Dad. Our conversation focused on his wellbeing post-Covid and the evolution of his eco-farm.

After my trip to Tokyo in 2022, I went on a body weather intensive in Border Ranges National Park on Githabul land. I developed an improvisatory in-situ performance while there and some of the footage of this performance became part of the two-channel video I developed for my Outer Space solo exhibition in Meanjin/Brisbane
